Rediscovering Australia: The importance of the model as an artistic sentiment

Just wanted to share a couple of notes that I had taken while travelling around Australia - in particular, some of these lines I wrote on a flight to Sydney, flying from Alice Springs. Seeing the rain develop abruptly over West Sydney against the deep sunset (like in the picture I took), as captivated as I was by the strength of reality, I wrote on my sketchbook:

Viewing art as a pure human necessity, the artistic expression is about portraying an honest sentiment, not necessarily a defined technique. I have researched and developed how the role of the model and the atmosphere of a design process completely determines the artistic situation and the feeling it evokes and captures.

As a personal open topic for longer-term project research (started in Gold Coast, Australia), the deeper exploration of the role of the model as part of the artistic expression. The model as an expressionist master in creating the real sentiment where art blossoms.
